We have started off the year with two major additions to our agency. Samaritan NPS is pleased to announce:
- We have started a new counseling office, with the help of Ronald United Methodist Church, in Shoreline, WA. The congregation at Ronald UMC is now hosting a counseling site for Samaritan NPS. The support allows us to bring the Samaritan counseling ministry to the congregation and the greater community. Thank you to everyone at Ronald UMC!
- We are also excited to annount an addition to our clnical staff. Akiko Nawata, M.Div., PMCPC, PMCTS, LMHC is now located at the Ronald UMC counseling site. More information on Akiko, as well as how to reach her to discuss an appointment, can be found here. Information about, and directions to, the Ronald United Methodist Church and the Samaritan NPS office is also available.

Regretfully, we announce that Laurence Hill, MA, LMHC, left our agency. We are very fortunate to have been able to have Laurence on our staff, and only wish that we could have had him with us longer. We extend our warm wishes and prayers for Laurence and his family.
If you were a patient of Laurence's, we are here to help. Feel free to contact:
- Any of our counselors directly to inquire about an appointment. Be sure to let the counselor know that you were seeing Laurence.
- Anna Thompson,MA, MHP, LMHC, who may be available to see you in the Woodinville location.
- Our main office for a referral to another Samaritan NPS counselor at an alternate location.
In addition, your primary care physician or insurance plan may be helpful in finding additional counseling resources for you. | |

We provide an on-call service after hours for current patients. To improve our service to our patients, we have changed providers, which means our crisis number has changed as well. The new number is 425-864-5374. If your counselor manages his or her own crisis calls, then please continue to use the number they provided to you.
The on-call after hours service is for current patients only, and for urgen clinical matters which cannot wait until the next business day. For all other matters, please call your counselor at their regular phone number.
If you are not a current patient and have an urgent matter that cannot wait, you may contact the crisis line for your area:
Snohomish County: 800-584-3578
King County: 866-4CRISIS or 206.461.3222
or look in the front of your local telephone directory. |
